Community Commitments

For a holistic approach, Coral Bay Nickel Corporation complements its operations with community engagement activities by allocating funds for its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) through various development projects under the following components: Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (DHNC) which includes education, health, human resource development, infrastructure and livelihood projects; Information, Education and Communication; and Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences. For the year 2019, CBNC allocated Php 183.9 million as its SDMP fund which includes the carry-over budget from the preceding year at Php 31.2 million.
