Coral Bay Nickel Corporation is compliant with the provisions of the Philippine Mining Act and DENR Administrative Order 2010-21 regarding the implementation of its SDMP, which covers 22 barangays, including 53 cultural communities of Indigenous Peoples in the Municipality of Bataraza, Province of Palawan.

The SDMP for 2025 is the second installment of the company's five-year SDMP Plan (Phase V). Its goal is to contribute to building responsible and self-reliant communities, capable of developing, managing, and implementing programs, projects, and activities in a manner that is consistent with the principles of sustainable development.
